About Us

The Left Bank Bistro was established in February 1995. It is a modern restaurant, situated in the heart of Old Athlone, a stone's throw from the Athlone Lock on the river Shannon with views of the Norman Castle and it's ancient architecture. The food is exciting and innovative and the restaurant is fully air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible.
