The Left Bank Bistro was established in February 1995. It is a modern restaurant, situated in the heart of Old Athlone, a stone's throw from the Athlone Lock on the river Shannon with views of the Norman Castle and it's ancient architecture.The food is exciting and innovative and the restaurant is fully air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible.

Our great value Early Bird dinner--- 2 courses €20, 3 courses €25 is available all night from Tuesday to Friday and until 7.30 p.m. on Saturdays.

We have a new WINE BAR offering 22 wines by the glass

We have deli products for sale and most dishes on our menu can be bought as a 'Take Away' -- allowing you to enjoy the great natural tastes of our food in your own home.
